"MIRROR is an ancient handicraft that originated in the Baluchistan province of Persia and became popular during the Safavid era. The craft involves intricate embroidery and appliqué work, using small pieces of mirrors that reflect light and create a dazzling effect. The designs are often inspired by nature, with floral and geometric patterns that symbolize harmony.
For this collection, we wanted to pay tribute to the rich heritage of the MIRROR craft and showcase its beauty in a modern context. We have incorporated intricate mirror work into our designs, using it to create stunning motifs and embellishments on our garments. The geometric shapes add a contemporary touch, giving the collection a fresh and unique look.
But our collection is not just about fashion. It is also about celebrating the culture and traditions of Persia, and the incredible skills of the women who have kept this ancient craft alive for centuries. Through our designs, we hope to bring the magic of MIRROR to a wider audience and inspire a new generation of artisans to carry on this beautiful tradition."
